Lavender Silk Ellipsens

Didymos Lavender Silk Ellipsens combines lavendar silk with blue cotton.  This wraps glides very easily, has very little grip.  Some wrappers will find it slippery.  I find it thin but not diggy.

Birdie's Room exclusive Purple Hemp Indio is a beautiful medium thickness hemp blend indio.  Soon after a linen blend with the same purple cotton was released, but the hemp version continues to be more rare.

I remember reading that the purple version of this wrap was a factory error.  It is the perfect purple.  A dense wrap with blunt ends like other Lanas.  The pattern is printed rather than woven.

After owning and the selling the first version, I jumped at the chance to own the second.  Significantly thicker and less delicate the second version has more contrast between the purple and navy threads.

Girasol Pacifico, Vatanai Blueberry & Orkney

Girasol Fresh Grapes

The Blueberry Tree's exclusive, Fresh Grapes, is my boomerang wrap.  I have bought and sold it 3 times. It was the first Girasol colorway I lusted after.  Looking at it now, I almost want to try and find another one . . . almost.  Like other twill weaves it is grippy and can be saggy if the carry is not tight.  The first one I owned (from spring 2010) was softer and less supportive than the later two weavings.

Didymos Latimeria Fish

Despite being a thin wrap fan, I wanted to try Latimeria after hearing many rave reviews.  Latimeria was all it was said to be; thick, supportive, dense, smooth, good glide and fairly moldable for its thickness.  In the end, it was just too heavy for me in a long wrap so it moved on to a thick wrap loving mama.
