Girasol Diamond Weave Donau (Azul Pacifico)

Slingomama's popular exclusive Donau was re-woven in the diamond weave.  The brown, yellow and blue stripes are paired with azul pacifico weft in the above picture.  In this version weaving in the diamond weave it was also woven in two other wefts. Typical of other diamond weave giras, it is textured, flannely but still has good glide.

Girasol Symphuo

Slingomama's Girasol exclusive Symphuo is a funky rainbow wrap.  Mine is the twill weave in cream weft.

Girasol Blau

Metro Mini's Girasol exclusive Blau is an old weave (wrong side) with 3 blue/turquoise stripes.  The weft is the same color as the darker turquoise stripe.  It is very soft but I find it less supportive than both the new twill and diamond weaves.

Metro Mini's exclusive Dark Knight is a black weft Gotham with three grey stripes.  I've owned two weavings and have measurements for both.

Girasol Love Diamond Blue Weft

Love is a dream wrap of a German mama who organized its weaving.  My wrap is from the third and final weaving.  Mine is woven in the diamond weave with a blue weft.  Woven in both twill and diamond weaves, Love was available in a number of wefts.

Girasol Fresh Grapes

The Blueberry Tree's exclusive, Fresh Grapes, is my boomerang wrap.  I have bought and sold it 3 times. It was the first Girasol colorway I lusted after.  Looking at it now, I almost want to try and find another one . . . almost.  Like other twill weaves it is grippy and can be saggy if the carry is not tight.  The first one I owned (from spring 2010) was softer and less supportive than the later two weavings.

Girasol Light Rainbow (yellow weft)

As soon as I read about the new standard line diamond weave girasols I wanted to try one.  I ordered Light Rainbow and received the yellow weft version. Less fruit loopy than the currently more common cream weft version.  The purple/blue/green end of the rainbow is usually my favorite but not with the yellow weft.  The diamond weave allows for the weft to play a greater role.  I prefer the wrapping qualities of the diamond weave in multilayer carries and Light Rainbow was no exception.  While more glidey than the twill weave Light Rainbow still has some grip and is more textured.

Girasol Tahoe

Woven Wrap's Exclusive Girasol Taho is a beatiful blend of three blues with a thinner green striped along one rail.  The turquoise weft contrasts beautifully with the navy, green and lighter blue stripes. Mine was woven early in 2012.  Typical of girasols, Tahoe's flannely texture provides grip but also inhibits glides when doing multilayer passes.
